I. Pre-Operation Preparation

1. Equipment Inspection

   • Ensure stable power supply (220V) and proper grounding.

   • Check if dies (upper/lower punches, die mold) are securely installed and free of wear/cracks.

   • Lubricate critical parts (guide rails, pressure rollers) with food-grade oil (GMP-compliant for pharmaceuticals).

2. Material Preparation

   • Sieve powder (80-100 mesh) to ensure flowability and avoid clumping.

   • For sticky materials, add 0.1%-0.5% magnesium stearate as a lubricant.

 

II. Operation Steps & Tips

1. Parameter Setup

   • Pressure Adjustment: Gradually increase pressure via handwheel/digital panel (start low, target 5-20kN for typical hardness).

   • Thickness Control: Adjust lower punch height; keep thickness tolerance within ±0.1mm.

   • Pre-Compression: Set to 30% of main pressure to reduce lamination risk.

2. Die Installation & Filling

   • Manually rotate the turret 2-3 cycles after die installation to confirm smooth operation.

   • Overfill the die cavity slightly to prevent weight variation.

3. Test Run & Debugging

   • Run idle for 1 minute to check motor stability.

   • Test 10-20 tablets; verify hardness (with hardness tester) and weight variation (≤±3%).
